Caution

ESD precautions and proper handling procedures must be observed in order to prevent damage to system components.

1. Close all programs and shut down copmuter.
2. Unplug system from all electrical sources.
3. Open the LCD (screen) Panel.
4. Remove rubber cap and the Phillips-head screw in upper left hand corner of the keyboard cover.
5. Gently press down on the right hand side of the keyboard retainer and slide to the left.
6. Carefully lift the edge of the keyboard nearset the LCD, and slide the keyboard toward the LCD screen to release the tabs that secure it.
7. Carefully tilt the keyboard and place it against the LCD panel.
8. Disconnect the keyboard cable from Connector P41 on the LED/Power switch board..
