Caution

ESD precautions and proper handling procedures must be observed in order to prevent damage to system components.

1. Unplug system from all electrical sources.
2. Turn the system over so the bottom is facing up.
3. Remove a total of 14 screws.
4. REMOVE ALL SCREWS from the bottom casing.
5. There are 3 from the Versa Bay III.
6. There are 2 underneath the keyboard, if not already removed.
7. Turn the VERSA SX Notebook over, remove 6 screws. Starting at the right and working to the left separate the top cover from the bottom assembly.
8. Separate the top cover exposing the internal components.
