Prolonging Battery Life
Use these tips to prolong the life of the main and back-up batteries.
Use the AC adapter when you need to use the full backlight feature, the modem, or a PC card. When the MobilePro is powered with the AC adapter, the batteries are not depleted.
Enable the automatic suspend feature to power off the system when you close the LCD display panel. Select Control Panel, tap MobilePro Settings, then tap the Power Off tab. Select both the battery and external power check boxes to enable the automatic suspend feature.
Disable the Notification LED if you will not be using the MobilePro for an extended period and have preset reminders. Access Calendar and select the Tools . Tap Options, then tap the Alarm bell button, and Reminder Options. Disable the Flashing Light check box.
