Battery Bay Layout

• Battery Release Latch
  Allows you to release and remove the battery.
• Lithium-Ion Battery
  Provides battery power to the NEC MobilePro when away from an AC power source.

1. After unpacking the contents of the NEC MobilePro carton, locate the Lithium-Ion Battery Pack, and the system unit.
2. Lay the MobilePro upside down.
3. Slide back the battery release button.
4. Locate the empty battery bay adjacent to the battery release button, and carefully slide the notched end of the battery into the bay.
5. Press firmly until the battery connection is secure in the bay.
6. Charge the main battery while you work or explore the software on your new unit, by connecting to the AC Adapter.

1. Close all programs.
2. Power down system.
3. Lay the MobilePro upside down.
4. Slide back the battery release button.
5. Locate the battery bay adjacent to the battery release button, and carefully slide the battery out of the bay.
